Kara Loraus is the Vice President of Innovation & Future of Work at UnitedHealth
Group, where Kara leads AI-powered workforce transformation & innovation for one of
the world’s largest and most complex health services organizations. Kara oversees a
team focused on driving measurable business outcomes and value across strategic
workforce planning, capability-driven HR transformation, and the advancement of AI
engagement, adoption, and transformation of work across the Enterprise.

Prior to her current role, Kara led the People Team Mergers & Acquisitions function at
UHG, optimizing stakeholder experience and maximizing enterprise value through
strategic deal support, integration delivery, and employee experience.

Before joining UnitedHealth Group, Kara spent 9 years in EY’s People Advisory
Services, advising Fortune 500 clients on human capital transformation, operating
model design, process optimization, and global HR technology implementations.
